Holland Park Avenue

Located on Holland Park Avenue adjacent to the Royal Crescent. Kirkwood McLean were approached in 2014 to produce a feasibility study and planning application for the ground floor and basement for a Grade II Listed building. The application involved a change of use with a basement conversion from a restaurant to residential accommodation. A technically challenging site meant that particular sensitivity was required to negotiate the various planning and conservation requirements. The scheme design involved the creation of 2 new bedrooms; a master with en-suite and a guest room. The living accommodation is placed in the front of the building to take advantage of the extensive fenestration and light-well. The upper floor is to be converted from restaurant to office.
