Located within a Grade II Listed, converted school building, in the heart of Clerkenwell conservation area. Kingsway Place is a domestic refurbishment which provides the client with reconfigured living and dining spaces, a new en-suite bathroom and a thoughtful approach to storage.

 

The project identified 3, large specialist joinery items around which the scheme design was generated. Firstly a large double height bookcase provided storage to both the living space and also the bedroom above. Secondly, a semi-permeable bookcase to the stair provided both storage and privacy to the second bedroom. And finally a “hidden office” that allowed the client to work from a workstation which when not in use discreetly folded back into an existing alcove.
